Frequently asked questions
When using our standard sanitation, we recommend changing the water every 2 weeks if you are plunging every day for residential use and do not use any chemicals.
For commercial use, you may need to change water weekly based on the usage.
With our automated sanitation system the water is kept clean for moths. We suggest to empty and clean the bath after every 3-4 months.
To extend the time between water changes, ensure that you are rinsing off prior to entering the cold plunge. This is especially important if you are using a sauna or exercising. Going directly from sauna into the ice bath will require more water changes.
For commercial use, it should be required that all clients rinse after sauna or exercise prior to entering the ice bath.
The water cooling speed depends on the bath size and the temperature in the room/outside . In 20°C (68°F) the water temperature drops approximately 2-4°C (4-7°F) per hour.
All baths for North America require a 1 phase 110V-127V 15 Amp Dedicated GFCI outlet.
All other plunges require 1 phase 220V-240V 13 Amp RCD outlet
Yes, all Nordic Vitality plunges can be heated up to 40°C (104° F)
